The field of images of the Saraakallio rock paintings is the most extensive in all of Fennoscandia. There are approximately 200 identified rock paintings at the site, with 163 different images. The subjects of the Saraakallio pictures include, among others, a deer, a diagonal cross, a horn-boat motif, a snake, palm prints, double images, zigzags and geometric patterns.
