What is the right name for my company?
Choosing a company name is a difficult choice. It was my first time doing this and I can tell you that I thought about it for a long time. I had the idea that a name should be enabling rather than limiting.
I came up with EräKatri when I was at the beginning of my studies. Good! I decided to keep EräKatri anyway. However, deep down I had a strong feeling of something else. I have my own story. It is good to have a story as the name of my company.
Spring progressed. On a frosty March morning in 2023 in the north, after a well-slept night, the light bulb went on. The name issue became clear and a decision was made.
HauskaaOnnellista = Have fun and be happy is a beautiful and meaningful wish from me to everyone. I realized that wish encapsulates everything what I wish with all my heart for everyone.
Thanks and honor for the name like a wish goes to my older sister Raili. My company name has this story.
Friends' wish will live on
A while ago, my sister Raili's life in the Art City Mänttä was a normal everyday life. The Serlachius paper mill was a major employer. The team worked long days in the kitchen. Then things started to happen. Her co-worker Eeva moved from Mänttä to Southern Finland to be closer to her daughter.
Although the distance grew, the friendship remained. The former best co-workers became best friends. In the future, they would meet either in Helsinki thanks to Raili's business trips or in familiar corners in Mänttä. Life challenged both of them.
The friends met less often. Meeting each other was always a great joy. Together they decided that every meeting was a small celebration. They came up with their own wish HauskaaOnnellista "Have fun and be happy".
Years passed. Cancer surprised Eeva again. The first time, at the age of 29, cancer took two of her fingers. Later, at the age of 58, stomach cancer separated the best friends forever.
The meaningfull wish, invented by these friends, had come into my life through my sister long time ago.
When you think good things, it creates a better life.

It's good to reflect on life from time to time. Its course and twists and turns. Where am I headed?
I'm always happy when my sister Raili and I sit at the same table to reflect on life. I used to visit him in Keuruu in our childhood home Nahula. Now days in her new home in the Art City Mänttä.
How fortunate that the life we've lived, with its experiences, joys and sorrows, is a resource for each of us. Big losses and the challenges life brings expose us to growth and new beginnings. Sometimes it's good to stop and reflect on our own choices.
Life is not an easy sport. I know from experience. I have strong faith that we can overcome everything.
HauskaaOnnellista wish have been on my journey for well over 20 years.
This wish is meaningful. It always brings a smile to my face. HauskaaOnnellista tells of the joy of this moment and the encounter of gratitude, while expressing hope for the future.

We all have a lot of everyday life. The joy of life and the happiness of each day are built on different things for everyone.
A good everyday life makes life easier and there is a place for festive moments.
