Team Rynkeby charity auction in Jyväskylä
I will be hosting on Saturday 28.3. from 11-15 at Seppä Shopping Center in Jyväskylä. Come and join us at the charity auction organized by Team Rynkeby Järvi-Suomi. There will be a program for children and adults.
There are 50 items in the auction and the funds will be donated to pediatric cancer research and to supporting children with cancer and their families through the Aamu Finnish Children's Cancer Foundation and Sylva ry.

In recognition of its responsibility work, the program services produced by EräKatri have been awarded the Green Activities Certificate today, Friday 13.2.2026, which is based on the responsibility criteria designed for the program services industry.

As a Green Activities certified company, I am committed to continuously developing responsibility and reporting on it annually in connection with the renewal application. Compliance with the criteria is verified through regular audits, and the certificate is awarded by an external, independent jury.

Happy Independence Day!
I had the honor of being the keynote speaker at the Independence Day celebration of the city of Keuruu. Immeasurable thanks and honor to my late father, veterans, Lotti and the wartime generation of independent Finland. Warm congratulations to those who were awarded and promoted!
Giving the speech was very exciting, it went well. Thanks for the feedback. The local newspaper SuurKeuruu recorded the celebration.

"Congratulations, you have been awarded the National Park Expert Oulanka certification."
I have been involved in the National Park Expert pilot. The multi-faceted course included distance and face-to-face teaching alongside independent study and an online course. The final exam was in two parts, including a general section on national parks and a section on our main destination, Oulanka National Park.
I am happy that I took part in this training organized by the Responsible Multi-Expert in the Natural Environment project and prioritized my own time related to national parks.
This course was excellent and educational. It's good to continue with this.

I had a great vacation in Hong Kong. 12 days of adventures, hiking on nature trails, swimming in the sea, kayaking and enjoying the city's offerings. Lots of nice encounters, kindness and friendship. Different experiences and thrills.
Back home happy and grateful. Traveling broadens your horizons!

As an entrepreneur in the natural sector, responsibility is at the center. I am committed to acting responsibly for sustainable tourism. I am participating in Visit Finland's Sustainable Travel Finland training organized by Visit Jyväskylä Region with several companies from Central Finland.
My goal is to achieve the Sustainable Travel Finland label, which is highly respected in the tourism industry, by 2026.

I was selected to join Metsähallitus' Wilderness and Nature Community, which has about 1,000 nature enthusiasts from all over Finland. The participatory community operates on a closed digital platform and is helping to develop sustainable wilderness and hiking services and excursion destinations.
This is an interesting volunteering opportunity and a vantage point for nature-related issues. I am grateful to have been able to participate.

Work ability management seminar in Peurunka, Laukaa. I spent two days listening to speeches from Finland's top experts, including Jari Hakanen, Hannaleena Ronkainen, Henrik Dettmann and Anssi Smedlund.
Those were rewarding days! I am also grateful for the great encounters.

A one-week trip in the north was great. Thanks to the Oulanka, Syöte and Rokua national parks and the pearl of Oulujärvi, Ärjänsaari. Autumn nature offered its best with the sun. Happy for life.

This weekend had been eagerly awaited for a long time. We did it! We succeeded together!
I was part of the core group of the OPH Kesäpäivät event since December 2024.
Finlandia Hall in Helsinki offered us a wonderful setting. People from all over Finland gathered for the event. 3000 participants were able to enjoy an entertaining program, tasty tasting experiences and a happy atmosphere in line with the theme in the best company.
This has been a great project to lead. Thank you all!

I told the stories of my 6-month a trip around the world with photos. The audience lived along with my stories.

Our 41 national parks offer all their visitors 24/7/365 the most amazing nature in Finland. This week I was able to enjoy the freshness of a forest pond in Nuuksio, the magnificent swamp landscapes in Valkmusa, and the beauty of Seitseminen. The trips were a success and the weather was warm all week.
I have plenty to experience, I have now visited 25 national parks. I hope that you will also find your way to the wonderful national parks of Finland.
It would be a pleasure to be your guide. Shall we go together?
