Now is the darkest time of the year. It's good to remember to think nice things and step towards the light. If you are free and completely alone at Epiphany Day, join the group!

New kinds of winter memories for singles. Let's enjoy the fresh outdoor atmosphere and the glow of a campfire.

Low-threshold option

Epiphany Day wouldn't be without a little surprise. So surprise yourself and the other participants and join us for a low-key campfire events.

Nature is ready. Are you?

This is my gift to singles.

  • The event is for adults, alcohol-free and smoke-free.

  • You can participate according to your own schedule.

  • I'll call the group, bring seating mats and firewood. I make fire.

  • I'll also organize some program.

  • I'm organizing a raffle! I'll donate the prizes. You can also bring a prize if you want.

Good to know that the venue has very few seats and zero fans.

What to bring?

Be properly prepared. Epiphany weather forecast -12 C.

  • Wear clothes suitable for the weather. Dressing in layers always works. An extra jacket or blanket may be necessary.

  • Open and appropriately curious camping spirit.

  • Bring a flashlight or headlamp if you have one.

  • If you want to enjoy delicacies, bring your own snacks and hot drinks.

Let's enjoy together

Singles' campfiers are an adult-only, non-alcoholic and smoke-free event.

  • Let's be human and kind to each other.

  • Safety is important. Safety mentally, physically and socially.

  • So let's take care of our own safety and that of others.

  • Let's be very careful in uneven, dark or slippery areas.

  • Special care should be taken near the fire and you are not allowed to go on the ice.

Organizing a singles event is exciting, but that doesn't matter. If you're exciting about participating, that's very okay. A little excitement is certainly part of the deal. Let's succeed together.

Basic information

Suitability: Singles, odd-numbered, loners

Difficulty level: Easy, be prepared to walk on uneven ground, on snow and slippery surfaces.

Insurances: Participants must have their own accident and/or travel insurance. The organizer has liability insurance.

Location, arrival and parking spaces

Kolmisoppinen lean-to

  • The lean-to is in the terrain of Ladun Maja on Kolmisoppinen beach, slightly off the pikkukkuakkonen track.

  • Ronsuntaipaleentie 279, Jyväskylä

  • Ladun Maja has three large parking lots. Up, middle and lover parking lot.

  • Walk to the lean-to about 500 m. Accessible. Information board at the beginning of the route.
