Let's walk together Green Loop - Central park of Jyväskylä

EräKatri's guided city tour around Green Loop in the center of Jyväskylä invites you to join us. The tour is intended for all outdoor enthusiasts. You can participate alone or with a friend.

The Green Loop circular route is a 10-kilometer park chain that connects the green and recreational areas surrounding the center of Jyväskylä. Hiking along Green Loop offers a variety of urban nature for all senses and comfortably takes its walkers to nature, art and culture.

  • Did you know that 2026 is Green Loop 10th anniversary? On a guided city tour, with a nice group, it's nice to throw yourself into admiring the enchanting pearl of Jyväskylä, the Green Loop park chain.

Along the way, you have permission to enjoy nature, changing landscapes and the diverse offerings of the built environment. The route is hiked with several stops and one sit-down, snack break.

EräKatri's guided city tour on Green Loop

The guided city tour on Green Loop offers outdoor company for everyone. You are welcome to join alone or with a friend.

You will need a brisk hiking spirit and equipment according to the weather. I recommend taking a small snack in your backpack. Along the way, we will sit for a while and enjoy a leisurely snack.

The city tour lasts 3-4 hours. If your schedule does not allow for the entire 10 km circular route, come along to the meeting point at the beginning and enjoy part of the journey with the company.

We will set off from Sepänaukio.

City tour - welcome! We will meet at Sepänaukio Square, Sepänkatu 5, Jyväskylä.

SUITABILITY
* For all outdoor enthusiasts
INCLUDING
* Outdoor clothing suitable for the weather and good walking shoes. Drinks in your backpack and snacks of your choice. An open and curious hiking spirit.
LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY
* Easy 10 km walk, be prepared to walk on uneven ground. Everyone participates at their own risk.
INSURANCE
* Participants must have their own accident and/or travel insurance. The organizer has liability insurance.

PRICE INCLUDES
* Guided city tour, a little sweet, new experiences. Liability insurance. VAT 25.5%.
LIMITED TICKETS
* Advance tickets are only available on this page. Payment methods are VismaPay, i.e. online banks, bank cards, mobile payments and MobilePay.
* If there are still tickets left, cash is also accepted at the departure point.

DO YOU USE PUBLIC TRANSPORT?
* You can get to Jyväskylä by bus or train. Sepänaukio is a short walk from the Travel Center. It may be a good idea to find out about the possibility of carpooling.
